Kenyan Government Directive: New Education Curriculum!

The government have included our Muguna-anna schoolin this new initiative for their C.B.C. Programme.
In regard to this they have built a few new classrooms in some select schools, and they have requested that ETO put up a classroom at our Muguna-anna complex, as they intend to send some pupils to us, January 2023!
I suppose we should be honoured that Muguma-anna have been recognised as one of the better schools in Kenya, after consistently coming at the top of the Kenyan school league tables! But they did not provide the necessary funding for the build!
ENTER ETO FORMER PUPILS:
Livingstone informs me that he called together some of our successful ex-Pupils, and explained the situation to them, and they willingly came to our rescue by volunteering to support the building of the classroom for us.
I have decided to share with you what some of our kids have done,
- Wilfred Gitonga bought stones @ 108000ksh = £765-00,
- Ruth Gicugu bought stones @ 40500ksh = £290-00
- Muthuuri Kirimi, bought 32-tons sand @ 32000ksh = £225-00
- Livingstone Njeru bought 16 Tons of Ballast @ 24000ksh = £170-00.
- Eliud Mutembi bought 28 tons Marram (foundation grit) @ 18000ksh = £127-00.
- Muthuuri , Livingstone, and Wilfred also bought 120 Bags cement @ 90000ksh = £635-00
- Others contributed 36900ksh for wire mesh, nails, and timbers
Plus, 110000ksh for labour costs =£775-00.
This is a lot of money for these people, and it was sacrificial giving,
Thank God for the fruit of your labours and generous giving to the orphans and needy people ETO in Kenya!
