Educate the Orphans: Rescue Centre Update

EDUCATE THE ORPHANS

RESCUE CENTRE UPDATE

Dear ETO Supporter.

In our last post we told you about the truly horrific ordeal that had faced some young children, and how, after being saved from people traffickers these children had been brought to ETO for help.

In response to this need, Educate the Orphans had decided to extend the rescue centre so that we can care for and house these children.

Over the last 2 months we have been working hard constructing this vital new building. The building is currently approximately 85% complete, and we expect the windows and doors to be fitted soon.  It is also larger than we originally planned, now being able to house up to 32 children, ensuring that we can meet additional needs should it be required.

Again we would like to thank Bethel Church, ;Letterkenny and all our other sponsors who contributed to this project.  Please keep these children in your prayers.  Thank you...
NVTV - SHARON RADCLIFFE
Sharon Radcliffe, a long time supporter and volunteer with ETO was interviewed as part of an In Focus series on NVTV.  She spoke about her work as a midwife, including her work with various charity organisations, including her experiences in Kenya with ETO.  Your can hear Sharon's story below.
Educate the Orphans founder Bobby Moffett was also interviewed recently on NVTV about his life story and book, 'a man the colour of meat'.  In this interview Bobby explains how God used him to start Educate the Orphans.  We hope to be able to share this interview with you on our next post.

ETO COFFEE MORNING & POP-UP CHARITY SHOP
A small team of ETO Volunteers will be heading out to Kenya in early November this year.  As such we will be holding a coffee morning & pop up charity shop in the Christian Fellowship Church Café (Belmont Rd Belfast) on Saturday 5th Oct.

100% of the proceeds raised will be going to support the charity's work. Please come along, meet the team and support this good cause.
