EDUCATE THE ORPHANS            UPDATE ON ETO RESCUE HOUSE Due to the Covid-19 situation in Kenya, most government schools were closed, many orphaned and needy children had to leave the safety of schools; many having nowhere or no-one to go to. The consequence resulted in an outbreak of child marriages, rape and sexual abuse to children as young as 9 years to 13 years.   ETO decided to try to do something practical about this and build a rescue house/sanctuary where we could at least help some children in the area where we work! So, we prayed, asking God to confirm this plan - and we waited - nothing…!!! Into the 4th day of the 3rd week, Bobby was talking to Kris, when Kris asked Bobby, “what was on the bottom of ETO literature?’ REPLY: “JAMES 1: 27: “look after the Orphans and widows, in their distress.” KRIS:   “How much more distress do you need Bobby? Is being raped and abused not enough?”   BOBBY: “OK, I’ve got it,” ------ “Livingstone, put the work in motion, we are building the House!”   A FRIEND: “How much will that cost? I would like to help!”   BOBBY: “Livingstone said approximately £8500, without the bathroom!”   FRIEND: “Ok you’ve got it.” Next day a cheque for £10,000 handed to Bobby! WOW! The following day in Kenya, volunteers start to dig the foundations for the ETO rescue house. Now that’s answered prayer, but it only came when we got out of the boat and began the work, then GOD stepped in and provided the means. SOMETIMES WE ARE ASKING GOD TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO PRAYERS, WHEN HE HAS ALREADY ANSWERED MOST OF THEM THROUGH HIS WORD, WE JUST NEED TO LEARN TO READ THE BIBLE AND THEN DO WHAT IT SAYS, IN THIS CASE, JAMES 1 :27, “LOOK AFTER THE ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR DISTRESS.” GOD BLESS YOU FRIEND…!!!   Latest Update Livingstone and Christopher were approached yesterday by a young girl and her two of her brothers who saw the ETO sign on our Landcruiser.  She told us that there are seven of them and when her mother died, her father abandoned them when she was in Year two.
