Nov/Dec Update

In the middle of November our ETO school at Muguna-Anna hosted 16 primary schools, part of the teaching included Christian guidance and counselling at the bequest of the children.
MAINTENANCE AT ETO MISSION HOUSE
The old wooden door frames in our mission house have been eaten away by insects so we are currently replacing them with new metal frames.
ETO SUPPORTED CHURCHES

Our Kenyan ETO Director Livingstone provided us with an update on the churches ETO supports.

Livingstone reports that  'Our ETO churches are doing well.  Last week two teachers and one non teaching staff accompanied Mzee (Rev) Gicugu and Rev John as he preached across the River Tana.

This was after we had organised for two pastors from there who had an opportunity to teach our children for two days at Muguna Anna.  On the Sunday eight churches gathered at Muguna Anna to have a common service.

The first week after opening I escorted Rev John to Kaguma for preaching and many pastors joined him.

After visiting the Tana River Region (from Mount Kenya to the Indian ocean at Mombasa), we have started receiving children from there wanting to join Muguna Anna because they were impressed after seeing our teachers in their church.

Let me say it Bobby, I am really helping Rev John to bring the churches together - the betterment of the thank so much.

PLEASE PRAY FOR LIVINGSTONE, PASTOR JOHN, MZEE (REV) GICUGU AS THEY CONTINUE THEIR WORK AND PREACH THE NAME OF JESUS TO THE PEOPLE.
ETO BUS
Having an ETO bus is such a blessing for our children.  Having a bus enables ETO to obey the government regulations on visiting cultural occasion, i.e. interschool competition, sports days and museums etc.
New Farm

Having recently purchased our new 4 acre farm, Livingston organised the Kenyan Government Scientists to come and test the soils to see which crops we could successfully grow.  After treatments of the soils we are now test planting, potatoes, maize, millet, tomatoes, cabbage and carrots etc.

The photos below some of the seeds purchased for planting.
After receiving a generous gift from our donors in Donegal we were able to send Livingstone to the Rift valley (bread basket of Kenya) to purchase much needed millet and maize including delivery costs to Tharaka.  See photo below.
Listen to Rev Peter Karangu (RTU Interpreter) speaking to (a younger) Bobby Moffett explain about ETOs mission method, how and why it has been successful and impacted the community and people of Kaguma.
